Welcome to New York! What a New Yorker treat! In NYC schools the Second Graders learn about the Capital of the World...New York City! Our class will be in a New York state of mind and will be visiting, exploring, investigating, touching, smelling and stepping in New York City landmarks.

Our class is learning about our charming community of Sunnyside, the history of the construction of Queens Boulevard elevated railroad and subway stations, and the picturesque Sunnyside Garden.
