VISION: Pikes Peak Regional Science Fair is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focusing on several areas: - To stimulate students to take a more active interest in the STEM fields;
- To encourage students, through experiment and competition, to consider scientific careers;
- To provide a means of reward and recognition;
- To arouse interest in the scientific ability of young people by affording capable students an opportunity to reveal the results of their extracurricular work.
WHEN:March 9, 2013 - Saturday WHERE: University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS); University Center; 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway; See map of campus under "Directions." STUDENT REGISTRATION FEE: $15 per participant (lunch and T-shirt provided); $25 per participant (Late registration after February 15) REGISTRATION (left of webpage): Registration for participants, judges, teachers, and volunteers is completely online this year. Student Registration is now CLOSED. SCHEDULE: Schedules vary. Detailed schedules for student participants and judges are located under "Schedules." RULES: The PPRSF is associated with the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and follows the rules and guidelines established by ISEF.
