Course Outline: This course is designed to help students strengthen their mathematical skills through application of mathematical concepts to real-world activities and prepare them for the post-secondary world. Semester One: Chapter Two: ü Review skills needed to analyze data from a table, a graph, an equation and/or a situation. ü Collect data relating forearm length to height. ü Practice using graphic analysis vocabulary in context ü Review skills needed for statistical analysis. ü New skills: learn how to find the linear regression to calculate trend lines. ü Collect data on the relationship between head length and height. ü Practice using statistical analysis vocabulary in context.
