IOWA Testing continue this week

All children in grades 3-6 will continue taking the IOWA standardized test this week through Wednesday. Each day's testing session is no longer than 60 minutes.

Due to the testing, a very busy schedule outside the classroom and a few unavoidable absences for me, we will be completing 1 week of ELA lessons over the next 2 weeks. Therefore, the children will be given the weekly spelling list (No pretest due to mailer writing on Tuesday) on Tuesday of last week, but not tested on those words until nthis Friday, 10/20. Every child will be assigned the same spelling list due to the inability to have a pretest on Tuesday.

Ground Breaking Ceremony for Church Rectory this Monday!

The ground breaking ceremony for the new church rectory is scheduled for this Monday after the 8:00 mass. The school children will be attending and all are welcome and encouraged to join us.

I will be out of school on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. My father is having surgery. rs. Ciampolillo will be in for me during those days and is very familiar with my class routines and schedule. However, please understand that homework may vary from what is on the website and you should go with what is in your child's agenda if there is any question.

Our field trip to Proctor's Theater in Schenectady is this Thursday, 10/19. The bus will be leaving school at 8:30. Chaperones please arrive at school by 8:15. We should return to school by 12:00.
