Today’s Field Trip Was Cancelled: Due to circumstances out of our control, today’s field trip must be rescheduled.
ELA
Writing-Students are generating ideas for realistic fiction. This week, students are creating a story mountain, which will help develop their plot. We will begin writing our drafts this week!
Reading- Students are looking for clues and suspects as they read their mystery books. Once they are finished, students will produce a Case Report to present to the class. We are having so much fun being detectives!
Social Studies-Students are studying the Southwest Region. Students have met with their groups and will present information on one of the Five Themes of Geography. Students will then record the information with the Flip video camera and produce a movie about the Southwest Region!
Math- Students have created screen casts of their Google SketchUp projects! All screencasts have been posted on the classroom website. We had so much fun creating our dream houses!
