MAKE UP WORK POLICY REMINDER When you miss a Spanish class, it is usually not possible for you to make up the type of activities we do in class at home. This is especially true for listening and speaking activities. I do, however, expect you to make up any graded activity that you missed while you were absent. Daily language practice can be made up by making an extra effort to speak Spanish in class every day. When you return to class check the make up notebook. In it you will find written all the activities we did in class on the day(s) you missed. It will also tell you whether you have a test, quiz, or other graded assignment to be made up. If you need to make up a graded activity, please see me to make an appointment. This is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
All Make Up Work is due the MONDAY following your absence by the end of the day. (absent on Friday, work is due on Tuesday) Being absent and not doing the make up work lowers your grade, so please be diligent in making up the work. I also post the same information on my school web site. If you are home you can check after 3pm to find out what we did in class. You can also download any handouts from the website. Please use this useful resource.
