Jump Rope / Hoops for Heart Fund Raiser for American Heart Association

Dear Parent/Guardian,

From March 15th through March 29th, our school is holding both "Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart" again this year to raise funds for the American Heart Association. The money our school raises helps fund potentially lifesaving research and blood vessel diseases.  It also supports the development of of educational materials, which teach the importance of health and staying fit. In short, our school is joining in the fight against our nation's No. 1 killer -- cardiovascular disease and the No. 3 killer -- strokes. Through our participation, Christ the King School earns small gift certificates for physical education equipment. (With our tight budgets this really comes in handy!) A Participant Donation Envelope will be sent home with each child. Family and friends can support your child's participation through contributions. All donation checks should be made payable to the American Heart Association and are tax-deductible. Online Participation is also possible.
