Thanks to all of you that were able to make the parent meeting to introduce you to the new methods your child is using in math to help improve their number sense to make them ready for algebra and ultimately college. You will find the powerpoint that was used that night as a link on this page to help refresh your memory as the year progresses. With your help, we are helping to make your child a learner in the 21st century. Let us know if you need further explanation on any of the concepts. We would be happy to help. The Curriculum Department in Frisco ISD has put together a document as well that gives a little more information and background as to the philosophy of the math instruction being taught. Please see this link for more information.
