GREAT EXPECTATIONS
The Three Great Expectations of Fifth Grade:
-
Respectfulness - Students are respectful to themselves and others.
-
Responsibility - Students are responsible for their own behavior, as well as their belongings.
-
Ready to Learn - Students are on time each day with their supplies and a positive attitude. (Students are not allowed to call home for forgotten homework, and may not leave class to retrieve homework that has been dropped off in the office after 8:00 a.m.)
Valuable Communication
Each teacher will keep a discipline log to communicate any problems that occur during the school year, either with work habits or behavior. Please understand that when the discipline log has been signed, your child has already received a verbal warning. We will be documenting the behavior in their daily planner. Please review and sign the planner daily to keep the lines of communication open.
