Accelerated Reader gets students excited about reading and vocabulary. They are motivated to read constantly—during recess, at lunch, at home, everywhere! We have access to every quiz that is offered by Renaissance Learning, the company that produces the Accelerated Reader program. That's over 100,000 quizzes! That means that we have access to quizzes for books at the public library and books in your home library. If Renaissance Learning makes it, we have it!
When helping your child select a book from home or from the public library, keep in mind that he or she will make the most progress in reading skills when reading a book that is a little bit challenging - not too easy but not too difficult. The teacher can tell you exactly what book level range is best for your child. It's important to let your child be flexible in choosing books to read.
Parents can follow their child's Accelerated Reader progress by using AR Home Connect. By logging in to Home Connect with the child's username and password, parents can view the child's Accelerated Reader reading record and search for quizzes. Use the links below to access Home Connect or to read more about it.
