Another year of learning in room 16 has begun. There have been many changes in education over the years, but the rewards of seeing a child's face light up when she "gets it", or hearing a giggle as he enjoys a good book, has not changed. And that's why I teach.
My husband and I love to travel and spend time at our cabin in the summer. I also love to read and garden.
This year you will see your child grow as a reader and as a math thinker. You will also see him/her grow more independent and more aware socially.
We, the fourth grade team, really appreciate your support at home. The day isn't long enough for all the things your child needs to practice, and we really count on parents to stay informed about what their child needs extra help with at home. You make a huge difference in your child's success at school!
