Welcome Fifth Grade Students and Families! Thanks for taking the time to visit! Here you will find classroom resources, useful links, important dates, and information about what the students are learning. Please check back often as I will be adding new material and modifying existing information frequently. Have a great day! Ann Miller UPDATES: 2-1-10 Thanks again for your help with the bake sale on Friday!!! As a school, we earned a total of $1,953 for the Read-A-Thon and the Bake Sale going to "Save the Children!" http://www.savethechildren.org/ Thanks so much for your support. It was a great experience for the students to come together for a cause that they felt strongly about. (Several fifth graders donated $50 - $150 of their own money!) It also shows students that our school community thinks it is important to care about the worldwide community as well. Lynne and I now have the parents we need to accompany the fifth graders at Cal-Wood this year in April. Unfortunately each class needs only two fathers and one mother to chaperone the kids. Any parent is welcome to come up and visit during the days, but you will not be placed in your child's learning group (nor will the chaperones). It's important that chaperones are able to be at Calwood for the entire length of the trip. See me if you have any questions.
