My Home Page Ann Marinelli Art Teacher
I have been the Art Teacher at St. Mary's School since 2001 and at St. John Neumann since 2008. I have worked in many Catholic schools ranging from elementary school to middle school for the past nine years. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Nazareth College in 2000 and stayed at Nazareth working towards my Master's Degree in Art education. I earned this in 2003. My art curriculum has advanced and changed during my nine years experience. More emphasis is being placed on art history and technology in art. My goal with all my students is to have them experience many different artists and art forms. This starts in Kindergarten when we discuss self-portraits and goes all the way to 8th grade when we analyze surrealist artists and their works. On any random day, visitors can walk the hallways of either school and see the students' obvious talents.
