For those keeping track of book reports at home, the next scheduled book report is due on January 26th. You will find a complete list of the due dates and copies of the "Choice Board" on the main page.

Book reports are due on the last Thursday of most months and should be completed outside of class.

Update on Books on the Bus:

Mr. Warren and Mr. Barney will be watching to "catch" students reading on the bus! If you have your book or magazine with you, you may get a special prize! Good luck!

Books on the Bus:

A new program to encourage reading for FUN! Students in the middle school will be turning in short summaries, which include the title, author and date, to enter for a chance to win a soda. Names will be drawn at the end of each month. I hope that we have lots of students participating so that they all get an equal chance to win a soda. Good luck!

2010-2011 Changes!!!

Students are currently working out of the literature books and the weekly "READ Magazine."

Every student is required to bring a book to each class. Students caught without a book are subject to detention after a warning.

Students will be reading daily in their homerooms during SSR. Any student who finishes their assignment early is expected to read quietly.

Any student who is not passing all their classes (70% or above) will not participate in sports or extra curricular activities. Also, students who are not passing all their classes will not participate in specials (art, music, etc.) until they have caught up.
