Classroom Guidance Taylor Elementary

The purpose of the guidance curriculum is to help students develop basic life skills.  I will be visiting each classroom on a regular basis to teach lessons in the area of Career Development, Academic Development, and Personal Development. 

Examples of typical topics of lessons include:

• Emotions and Coping Skills
• Character Traits
• Goal Setting
• Career Education
• Peer Pressure and Influence

This year's guidance lessons will be presented with a focus on our school wide character program:  Rachel's Challenge.
