STAAR REPORTING INFORMATION:

Thanks to all the families who attended our February 13^th STAAR Information Night.  If you were unable to attend, you may access our power point presentation by clicking the attachment at the bottom of the page.  

Howard Roach, president of the Plano Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution, honored fourth grade student, Jesus Lara, for the heroic act of saving a baby who had fallen in a pool. Jesus's parents, Henry and Esmeralda, joined him at the Good Morning Taylor October 7. The visiting SAR members also led the school in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Dallas Stars Reading Rally

This year Taylor Elementary is participating school-wide in the Stick With Reading program. This program is sponsored by the Dallas Stars. Last week, three players from the Stars visited our school for a reading rally. They introduced the program, and got our students really excited about reading!
