Behavior Management

Student behavior is monitored on a daily basis with

a simple card system.  Each student has a

series of cards that track their daily behavior.

Below is a list of the content for each card:

Green is STAR STUDENT

Yellow is WARNING

Blue is LOSS OF RECESS

Red is WRITTEN REFERRAL

Black is DETENTION

The goal is for students to remain on their green card all day,

everyday!  There will be rewards for students who continuously

keep their card on green. Students that have to move their card

will start over the next day.  Notices of cards flipped will be sent

home in the students' Friday folders.

Additionally, I encourage POSITIVE BEHAVIOR with a hole punch system.  Individuals and groups earn hole punches for good behavior, organization, completed homework, and timeliness. All hole punches are tallied at the end of each month.  The winners are rewarded with various prizes.  We begin fresh at the start of every month with new groups.
