The 5th grade teachers have decided to hold detention on Thursday mornings at 7:45. We are hoping that this will help solve the problem that we are having with students coming to school without their homework. We have been sending students to study hall, and we will continue this intervention. However, we need some consequence for the students who are coming in several times a week without their work. After receiving two homework reminders in one week, students will be given an early morning Thursday detention. You will be notified with the weekly progress report that comes home on Fridays. Students will start each week with a clean slate.
