First Grade Info

Thank you for visiting our class during Catholic School Week. We had a wonderful week. One of the students summed it all up when she said" it's going to be another happy day!" That's just how we felt all week.

This week, specifically Tuesday, we will be celebrating 100 days of school. Children will be making necklaces with 100 beads. We will also be writing 100 nouns, 100 verbs and some other fun activities. Children will not need a snack tomorrow as they will be making a trail mix with 100 items!

February Book It will be coming home tomorrow. The project is a very simple book report. It will be due back the week of Feb. 27.

I am in the process of setting up our class field trips. Following are tentative dates:

March 5 - Md. Theater to see SkippyJohn Jones

May 23 - Renfrew Park

National Zoo Trip will be set by the end of the week
