Classroom Rules:

The following rules were developed in cooperation with students during the first week of school.

• Respect the rights, property and personal space of your teacher and peers.
• Be on time with class materials and homework.
• Pay attention and be involved.    

Policy for Assignments:

Assignments may be written, require reading and/or study work.  These assignments may be given Monday through Friday.  Each assignment should be completed neatly, on time, and to the best of the student's ability. It is the responsibility of the absent student to make up missed work. Plagiarism on assignments will result in a loss of credit.

• Late assignments:  Students have one additional school day to complete the assignment.  After that day, no credit will be awarded.  Late assignments will have a 10 point deduction.

Classroom Materials:

Please bring the following materials to class with you every day. They will help you be more successful in English.

• A three ring binder with lined paper
• Pen or pencil
• Novel or reading assignment
