What we are working on...
Third graders are learning to talk about their daily routines in Spanish! During this unit students learn to describe many activities they do throughout the day, as well as tell the time that they occur. Practice telling time in Spanish at home! Voy a la escuela. Leo un libro. Hago mi tarea. Estudio las matematicas.

Students will thoroughly enjoy reading and re-enacting a traditional Hispanic fairytale in Spanish class! This is the unit students ask for throughout the year! They will read Tomie de Paolo's version of a Mexican Cinderella (Adelita). Students will first compare the familiar story of Cinderella to that of Adelita. Then they will begin practicing the reader's theater. Re-enacting the story of Adelita in Spanish with props is always a big hit! Stay tuned for a video clip of the play!
