Kindergarten Happenings

Kindergartners are learning Spanish two days a week for 20 minutes each session. They are enthusiastic language learners! What we are working on.... We have been learning to describe the weather in Spanish class! We are lucky that in Michigan we have such a wide variety of weather conditions to talk about! Students are also learning to talk about the clothes they wear in relation to the weather. We are having fun using this vocabulary in real and silly ways!   
What is coming up... Kindergartners will soon be learning to talk about animals found on the farm. In Spanish, many animals make different sounds and children love to make these comparisons. Click on the link below to hear a popular, traditional song we will be learning.
