First graders are reading and reenacting the story of LOS TRES OSOS (the Three Bears). We have compared the traditional version of the Three Bears with the version of Trencitas Negras (Black Braids). This is always a favorite unit for students as they have the opportunity to grow as readers AND actors! Click on the links below to see your child's class play!
First graders will be learning how to name and describe animals in Spanish! They will use their new skills on their visit to John Ball Zoo! Students will describe the zoo animals they see by talking about their color, number of paws, length of tail, where it lives and how it moves! How fun for the first graders to be able to speak Spanish while visiting the zoo!
