When can I contact my child's teacher? Our conference period is from 12:20 - 1:10. The school's phone number is 469-633-2000. How can I give my child an appreciation of the written word? Find time to read aloud with your child every day. typically, parents play an important role in developing this skill by reading to children and showing how important reading is to their daily life. Lap time with picture books and stories can strongly motivate your child to enjoy reading. Try to make these book available for your children to explore and enjoy on their own as well. Who do I contact when my child is sick? Please call the school when your child will be home sick and then send a note to the teacher when your child returns to school. It can be hand written or e-mailed. If your child is sick for more than 2 consecutive days, we must have a note from a doctor. Can I bring in treats for my child's birthday? We want your child's birthday to be a very special occasion. If you would like to bring in treats, we can only accept store bought items. Please drop off your child's birthday snack in the front office no later than 2:00 p.m.
