One student from each class per month will be picked for Star Student. This student shows the particular character trait of the month and will be honored at the Friday assembly. September: Hard Work and Enthusiasm - failing to prepare is preparing to fail, Make each day special. October: Friendship - To make friends, be a friend November: Loyalty and Cooperation - Be trustworthy. Be more interested in finding the best way, not in having your way. December: Self-Control - Control yourself so others's won't have to. January: Alertness and Action - What you learn after you know it all is what counts. Be quick but don't hurry. February: Determination - Slow and steady gets you ready. March: Fitness and skill - Act, eat and think right. Practice makes perfect. April: Team Spirit - Be eager to help your team. May: Poise and confidence - Just be yourself. You must believe in yourself if you expect others to believe in you.
