Hello students and parents!  My name is Christine O’Hearn and I am the guidance counselor here at Robertson Elementary.   I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron, Ohio, in Education and my Masters in School Guidance and Counseling from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.  I have a passion for counseling and helping students to become the best future leaders they can be.    At Robertson we believe that every child has the need to feel

Cared for, Capable and Connected.

Developmental Guidance is an integral part of the entire educational program and is important to every student’s academic success.  It is preventative and proactive in nature and designed to reach all students.  The purpose of the school guidance program is to promote and enhance the learning process.   My responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Classroom guidance every two weeks(approximately), 

·         Lunch Bunch groups (for divorced or separated family situations, study habits, friendships, leadership, grief and/or any other need)

·         Individual counseling

·          Parent Consultation

·         Parent/Teacher Collaboration

 I hope to build a strong rapport with all of my students as well as parents/guardians and to work together in order to ensure that the students at Robertson have positive educational experiences.  If at any time I can be of assistance or have questions or concerns,  please feel free to contact me at the school.
