Parent Education Activities

This is another part of my job that I really like because it gives a chance for parents to meet and learn more about various parenting topics.  Riddle Elementary and Borchardt Elementary join together each year to provide parenting opportunities for our families.  The workshops are split between the two campuses, but both groups of parents are invited to attend at either campus.  I will also post other parenting workshops that will be taking place in the district that you may want to attend.  All parent activities that are posted are open to all FISD parents.  You may even want to bring a friend!

When Friendship Hurts - March 12 at Taylor Elementary starting at 8:30 a.m.  Patrice Dunn will discuss friendship issues that may occur at school.  Please RSVP to bentonje@friscoisd.org.

The Strong-Willed Child - March 25 at Isbell Elementary starting at 12:00 p.m.  Carrie Brazeal will speak about strategies for children that want to argue all of the time and don't want to do what you ask.  Please RSVP to cruzd@friscoisd.org by March 22nd.

ADHD and Learning Difficulties - March 26 at Isbell Elementary starting at 8:30 a.m.  Dr. Susan Fletcher will present information to parents.  Please RSVP to cruzd@friscoisd.org by March 23.
