About me:
Raised in central Indiana, I graduated from Indiana University and student taught in Indianapolis before heading off to Inverness, Scotland for a year of graduate work and teaching. While completing a semester's worth of credits, I co-taught Goegraphy and Modern Studies to secondary students at the Millburn Academy in Inverness. Along with a new permanent residence and newborn, 1998 witnessed my first full-time teaching experience. I have been at Palmer High School ever since teaching World History, 10th Grade IB U.S. History, World Geography, and AP Human Geography.
My wife and I now have two daughters and I assist the cross country running program at Palmer since 2002. Outside of running, I enjoy mountain biking, backpacking & camping, rafting, traveling, and family time. My family is largely defined by Colorado and our time in her beautiful landscape.
