Today is Monday,February 20th. When the children return to school, the book report will be due. They will turn in the final copy so some of them will need help editing and rewriting. I gave them a copy of the book review outline, but just in case here it is again:

1. Location and time period of the story.
2. Describe the character of the hero or heroine.
3. Relate some incident that tested his/her character, showing how he met the test.
4. Summarize briefly the plot of the story.
5. How did the author create suspense?
6.What parts of the book interested you the most?
7. Describe how the leading characters acted at the climax of the story.
8. What might have happened if they had not taken that action?
