High-Lexile Books (approximately 1000 and higher) for Elementary and Middle School Available in Pine View's Media Center (page last updated 11/28/2012) Our students at Pine View School for the Gifted all read above their normal grade level. This can make finding appropriate and interesting books a challenge. We maintain this list of High Lexile books for your reference. Books marked as Young Adult are in the secondary school section of the library. Elementary students may check these out with a note from a parent.
