I love the book Island of the Blue Dolphin because it is a historical fiction book and I love everything related to history. I also liked it because I really liked the character Karana and all the animal friends she made while alone on the Island. I felt sorry for her because she was alone for all that time. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be alone on a deserted island. What were your thoughts?
