• February Parent Teacher Group meeting: Our next Parent Teacher Group meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 10th at 7pm in the school library.We realize how hard it is to make meetings, with everyones chaotic schedules, so there are many ways to help! Just give Shelley a call & she will fill you in on upcoming events! All are welcome to join this dynamic group!
  

  

• Family-Fun-Day:  The PTG will be organizing a morning of bowling with Miss. S at Town Hall Lanes in Johnston. The date of the event is Friday February 19th, from 10:15 to 12:15, check in will be at 10 am. The cost of the event is $9:00 a person, which includes shoe rental. a strip of pizza, soda, chips, raffles and prizes. It is sure to be a great time, and a wonderful oppurtunity to meet new people and get the kids oput of the house during February vacation! • Upcoming Events:  The Boys Choice will be The Monster Jam at the Dunkin Donuts Center, February 27th, at 7pm. We had a great response & will be having 141 people there from Captain Isaac Paine sure to have a wonderful time. The Girls Choice Dance will be in April, further info will follow. We still have alot going on and much to do, so please stop in at a meeting or give me (Shelley) a call or an email, I will be happy to fill you in on some new ideas and love to hear yours as well. 

• Upcoming Fundraiser:  The Parent Teacher Group will be holding a cookie dough & Butter Braid Pastry fundraiser. We had the opportunity to sample many different products & this by far was our favorite!! They are made with 100% real butter by a local company in Connecticut. The fundraiser will begin on February 2, 2010 and the due date for orders will be February 22nd. The delivery of the goodies will be March 3, 2010. All the money raised will be allowing us to purchase  a silicone based paint to treat and cover  the large playground at our school. In order for the playground to remain open this has to be done to prevent splintering, and further decay of the wood. We appreciate all the continued support for all we do for or children, the students and our school!! THANK YOU!! 

• Teachers Holiday Gift:  On December 16, the parents and families of Captain Isaac Paine treated the teachers and staff to a day of pampering. Thanks to the help from parents we served all kinds of food, desserts, and pickies. The teachers & staff  had the opportunity to receive a massage and a little much needed relaxion time! Thank you to all the teachers and staff for making Captain Isaac Paine such a wonderful learning and nurturing enviroment.
