On May 11, we celebrated Mother's Day with a special Prayer Service and sang songs for our Moms! There were quite a few tears-happy tears, of course! On May 16, we will go on a walking field trip to the West Seneca Library and then to McDonald's for lunch! May 24th is our Family Picnic at Centennial Park to celebrate a great year in Kindergarten! We are still working very hard in class, too! Mrs. Bonn and Mrs. Miller can't believe how well we are reading! We are blending sounds and reading many new words every day! It's amazing! In math, we are learning all about subtraction. We can subtract two given sets, or we can make a subtraction story of our own! In religion, we are reading stories about our friend, Peter. He is learning that it is ok to be afraid, because God is always with us! There are always people we can talk to about our fears, too! We rally enjoy these stories about Peter.
