Listed below are a few common questions Kindergarten parents may have!

What are the Kindergarten school day hours?

Kindergarteners attend school from 7:50am to 2:50pm Monday through Friday. 
A tardy will be given to a student arriving after 7:50 am

What time does Kindergarten eat lunch?

Kindergarten eats lunch from 10:30am to 11:00am each day.

What time do Kindergarteners go to specials?

Kindergarteners go to specials from 1:15 - 2:00.

When is my teachers conference time?

All kindergarten teachers have a conference time from 1:15-2:00.

What do I do if my child forgot their lunch?

They can go through the cafeteria line that day, make sure they have money 
in their lunch account for emergencies!  You may also bring their lunch up 
to the office and it will be delivered to your child.

If you know in advance there will be a change, send a note to your child's 
teacher in their daily folder.  If there is an unexpected change in 
transportation, please call Ogle's front office at 469-633-3525 and tell 
them the change.  Please do not leave a message on the teacher's voicemail 
or send them an email, they may not get the message in time.

Will dismissal be different on a rainy day?

Dismissal will be the same on a rainy day.  Please note, it may take a 
little longer on this day.  So please be patient with us, and stay in your 
cars.  We are looking out for the safety of each child.

What do I do if my child is absent?

Contact the front office at 469-633-3525 if your child is absent.  Please 
send a note in their red folder within three days of their absence.  

It is my child's birthday! Can I bring cupcakes?

You may bring cupcakes/ cookies in the morning or afternoon.  We will share the 
cupcakes during snack time.  Please make sure they are store bought cupcakes and there is enough for all the students in the 
class.  We CANNOT pass out candy or goodie bags to the students, cupcakes/cookies 
only please.

Can I send in birthday invitations to be passed out?

You may send in invitations as long as everyone in the class is invited.  
They will need to be mailed if everyone is not invited.

Ask your child's teacher if you still have a question.  You can call and 
leave a voice mail or send an email and she will get back to you!
