Science with Mrs. Burkett and Mrs. Corley

Welcome to an exciting year of Science! We will be reviewing scientific concepts already learned and introducing many new ones.  The four main objectives to be covered are Earth/Space, Matter/Energy, Force/Motion/Energy, and Organisms/Environments.  Students will learn Science by doing many activities and hands-on experiments.  They will be required to keep a science journal to write their vocabulary and definitions, take notes, and record responses to their lab investigations. The journal maybe used as a study guide for tests and may be taken home at anytime.  It will need to be returned the next day of school.  We are looking forward to working with your child and increasing their knowledge of Science.  Please feel free to contact us by email, note, or phone call if you have any questions, concerns, or comments.
