Welcome to Math with Ms. Corley and Ms. Sharpe!

     Dear Parents,

     We are happy to have your child in our classrooms! We know we will share a wonderful nine months together in the fifth grade.  There are many new concepts to be introduced and skills to be mastered this year.  It is our desire to create a positive and meaningful environment to facilitate your child's learning.  It is in your child's best interest that we all work together in relationship to his/her schooling.  We will be in close contact with your regarding your child's progress in our classroom.  If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to call us, drop us an email, or send a note with your child to school.

We will begin reviewing and enriching Readiness and Supporting Standards within class based on data collected from the Math Simulation STAAR test. Based on our small group mini lessons within class, your student may bring home a few independent practice problems to continue to practice these identified areas.
