SPELLING HOMEWORK * We encourage you to look over the words weekly with your child. The students will take a pretest on Monday to find out what words they know already. Then a spelling contract will be sent home on Monday for them to do daily homework/activities at home. We will also continue to work on these words in class using various strategies. A test will be given on Friday to make sure they've learned the words they've studied all week! Helpful Hints: *Useful website: www.spellingcity.com *Create a supportive word rich environment *Make time and study words with your child. *Make sure your child completes and turns in spelling activites on due date.
