Reading Incentive Program

READING ROCKS! Reading can take us on exciting adventures into new and unknown worlds. At Momot, we celebrate reading each year through a school-wide theme and reading incentive program. The goal for all second graders is to read 50 long picture books or short chapter books by the end of the year. Because our primary purpose is to foster in children a love of reading, we encourage you to find books that are "just right" for your reader. I'd be happy to help in any book selections. Choosing books that are "just right" will allow your child to read with minimal assistance. Your encouragement and participation are still essential to your child's success and development as a reader. So take the stage, open a book, and ROCK ON! Reading Stars
