We had our awards ceremonies last week. Thank you to all the parents and friends who came out to help us honor the work students have done up to this point. We are challenging the students to do just as well...if not BETTER this 3rd nine weeks!

Report Cards went home on Tuesday. If you have not done so already, please sign and return them as soon as possible. If you need to conference, please contact your child's teacher directly.

Each class will have a celebration of FRIENDSHIP on Friday. Students may bring in "friendship" cards to exchange if they wish. Each class will be celebrating a little differently. If you need more information regarding your child's party, please contact your teacher directly.

Lastly, 2nd Grade has begun the process of cutting back on paper and toner use. You will notice changes in the homework and weekly tests such as Basic Fact quizzes, Skills quizzes, and Spelling Tests. Each test/quiz will still be counted the same and students should continue preparing for these assessments the same, they will just look differently. :)
