Meet Mrs. Fox About Mrs. Fox

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan in December of 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies/Geography and Elementary Education and had the wonderful opportunity of finishing my student teaching internship in Broward County at North Fork Elementary.  I am happy to be a part of Palmview Elementary's family since December of 2005!  I love coming to work everyday and make sure my students know that.  I tell them that I have the best job in the world because I get to come to work everyday and hang out with all of them!

Spaz is one of our cats.  He is so lazy! He just lays around all day!

Serenity is our other cat.  She's very photogenic, isn't she?

This is Moe.  Her name is Music in Motion but we just call her Moe.  She still lives in Michigan.  We used to compete in lots of horse shows together.  We made quite a team!

~Mission for Our Class~

As an educator I will provide a fun learning environment that nurtures students’ strengths, abilities, and ambitions. My classroom will strive to be a positive learning environment where elements of self control, cooperation and individual responsibility will be stressed in order to provide students with the necessary tools to become a dynamic member of society.  Every child is unique, therefore, I will provide instruction that is varied and supports many different learning styles. Ultimately, every student will be engaged in such a way that they will develop a sense of belonging and significance in my classroom.   I believe that each child is capable of learning and they need to be encouraged to succeed.  Children construct learning and knowledge through experiences.  Children need to be involved in their own learning and can be, through guidance of the classroom teacher.Guidelines and procedures will be in place in order to prevent opportunities for misbehavior.  I understand that education is a partnership between home, school, and community. I am available for conferences, questions, and concerns at anytime.  By working together, we can make 2nd grade a positive and challenging experience where all children can succeed.

  My Job as a Teacher...
...to provide my students with a fun and safe environment that promotes academic learning as well as personal growth.

 Your Job as a Student...
…to be open to new ideas and learning about yourself, others, and the world around you.
