Music

Hi, my name is Mrs. Strader. I am so excited to be your music teacher this year. I have been a teacher for 6 years and have taught high school, middle school, and elementary school. I LOVE to sing. I love all sorts of music from opera, to country, to hip hop, and the symphony. We will spend time discovering and exploring all types of music and I hope you learn to love music as much as I do.

This year we will play a variety of instruments, sing lots of great songs, begin learning to read music, play musical games, go on musical webquests, and perform for our friends. For the older students, we will begin playing the recorder, and you will have the opportunity to join the drum club and/or choir. It's going to be an exciting year and I can't wait to get to know everyone.
