The mission of the Frisco ISD Guidance Curriculum is to prepare every student academically, socially, and emotionally for present and future success.
The comprehensive counseling and guidance program provided by counselors in Frisco ISD are based on the following beliefs:
1. Every student has the right to experience respect and dignity as a human being and to benefit from counseling and guidance services.
2. Every student has the right to participate in activities that promote self-direction, self-development, and personal responsibility.
3. Every student has the right to make choices and accept responsibility for choices made.
4. Every student has the right to participate in a comprehensive school counseling and guidance program, designed to support all students attaining their maximum potential in academic, personal/social, and career development.
