This week we have:

-discussed Alternative Energy Resources in depth. We became "experts" on Biofuels, Hydroelectric Power, Wind Power, Solar Power, and Geothermal Power.  We also created a class definition for each term.

CHANGE IN HOMEWORK- QUESTIONS OF THE WEEK...

Every week, students will be assigned 10 questions. It is always due on THURSDAY. The questions will be what the students were taught that week. For example, the questions are given on Friday and are due the following Thursday. It will cover the information that we learn between Friday and the following Thursday.

Next Science CBA:

Earth and Space 1 CBA will be October 4.

LAB  Strategy

Students are required to use this strategy on all Questions of Week Assignments as well as tests/quizzes

L: look at and label all diagrams, charts, graphs, pictures, key words, vocabulary, etc

A: ask and analyze; what is the big science idea? Have I seen this before?

B: be thorough; Have I labeled? analyzed vocabulary? Disproved and Proved my answers?

*This strategy is used to help the students answer various questions.
