          Meet the Fabulous First Grade Team
This is Mrs. Buquoi’s second year teaching 1^st grade at Mooneyham.  Previously, she taught First Grade in Orlando, Florida for three years.  Mrs. Buquoi graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida in 2004.  She played soccer for the Rollins Tars!  Mrs. Buquoi has been married for 1 year to her wonderful husband named Shelby.  They have three cats:  Meeko, an adorable Persian, Scarlet, a beautiful Calico, and Barley, a playful Siamese.  Mrs. Buquoi loves spending her time outdoors!  She especially enjoys rollerblading, playing soccer, and swimming.  But most of all, Mrs. Buquoi loves teaching!!!

Mrs. Shelly Cummings enjoys the learning that occurs in first grade.  Her passion for teaching is evident in everything she does.  This is her eighth year teaching 1st grade. She has also taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, and preschool.  She has been married to her husband, Greg, for 25 years. Her son, Adam, is a sophomore at the University of North Texas.  Her daughter Ashley is a junior at Liberty High School.  Mrs. Cummings has a sweet little dog named Gracie.  Mrs. Cummings loves spending time with her family, church activities, and taking pictures.  She is looking forward to a wonderful year with the Mooneyham 1st graders!

Mrs. Angela Dillaman loves teaching 1st grade. This is her third year teaching first grade at Mooneyham.  Previously, she taught Kindergarten at Shawnee Trail Elementary.  She has been married to her husband, Brian for 15 years. Mrs. Dillaman has two sons, Colton (5th grade) and Ethan (3rd grade).  She also has a Beagle dog named Bailey who is 11 years old.  This summer Mrs. Dillaman became SCUBA certified. She went SCUBA diving with her husband in St. John US Virgin Island.  She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, reading and camping.  She loves to visit the Texas State Parks.

This is Mrs. Jennifer Johnson’s first year at Mooneyham Elementary, and she is very excited to be here! She graduated from the University of North Texas.  Mrs. Johnson grew up in Mandeville, La and is a huge LSU Tigers fan. Geaux Tigers! She has been married to her husband, Craig, for five years and they live in Frisco with their energetic kitten Nola Belle.  Some of her hobbies are working out, cooking, reading and shopping!  She loves spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited to get to know her  new class of students!

Mrs. Tanya Spencer is a first year teacher who graduated from the University of North Texas and completed her Student Teaching in Frisco ISD at Shawnee Trail Elementary and Christie Elementary.  She has previously worked as a Kindergym teacher at North Star Gymnastics & Cheer and at MyGym Children's Fitness Center.  Mrs. Spencer grew up in McKinney, where she currently lives with her husband, Truman.  She has a dog named Dirk who is 3 years old.  Mrs. Spencer enjoys yoga, taking pictures, spending time with her family and friends, good Mexican food, spending time at the pool in the summer, and of course, teaching children!

Mrs. Tara Yell feels truly at home with her first grade class!  She has taught first grade for five years.  She has been married to her college sweetheart, Tyler, for 2 years.  Tara and Tyler have two loving dogs, Archer who is a Charcoal Lab and Mocha a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  She went to Texas State University where she received her undergraduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction and her Masters degree in Special Education and Cognate.  You will always see a smile on her face when she is reading, traveling, playing the violin and guitar, cooking, making stained glass, oil painting or sewing.  Mrs. Yell is one crafty lady!  Mrs. Yell also loves to train for the Breast Cancer 3 day walk.  Mrs. Yell is very excited about the upcoming adventures in first grade!
