The Atkinson Media Center is a place where students learn to manipulate and explore the many facets of the modern digital landscape and where they seek out and discover new and exciting literature.
Mission Statement for the Freeport Public Schools Library Media Centers:
to ensure that all students, teachers, and staff become effective users of ideas, information and technology. This is accomplished through the integration of information literacy skills, collaboration with each other, and by providing access to information in an environment that is conducive to study, research and learning.
