Grading Policy

Homework                           20 % of grade           Homework is given after classroom practice

                                                                                  is given. Most assignments will be completed

                                                                                  during class time

Quizzes                                30 % of grade           Quizzes are given after standard has been    

                                                                                 covered and the student has practiced.

Tests                                     50 % of grade          Goal of 1 or 2 Tests each six weeks.

Whenever a homework assignment is not completed or when homework quizzes, or tests are not 70% accurate, the student is allowed to redo the material.

However, the score for the late paper or the retake work will only be worth 70 % of the grade. This allows students to relearn and get some help so that they can learn the standards and be successful.

TUTOR - HELP

I am available before school every morning at 7:00 unless I have duty.

I am also available on Monday and Wednesday afternoon until 4:00..

NO APPOINTMENT is needed. Just come in and get some help.

Classroom Policy

Be in your seat with supplies when the bell rings.

Check out any needed supplies before the bell rings.

Ask questions.

Get permission to get out of your seat.

Do YOUR best.

Behavior Policy

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Each problem will be handled according to the unique situation.

Excessive talking will result in moving seats, then calling parents.
