2011-2012 Gifted and Talented Testing Information

August 22nd- September 2- Referral window for students new to FISD who were previously identified, home-school, private school, or new to district.

Saturday, September 10- CogAT Testing for new students grades 3-11

Saturday, September 17- ITBS Testing for new students grades 3-11

Tuesday, October 18th- Kinder parent night at Bright Elementary- Parents may pick up packets that night. Times 5:30-7:00 pm. If parents, can't attend this event, they may also email the GT teacher for a packet.

Monday, October 17th- Monday, October 31st- Referral window for kindergarten students only; All nominations must be returned by Monday, October 31st at 3:30pm.

Friday, January 6th-Friday, January 20th- Referral window for students in grades 1st-11th who have not been screened by the GT program within the last two years; No nominations will be taken after 3:30 pm on January 20th. Parents must request a referral packet from their campus GT teacher.

Saturday, March 3rd-  CogAT Testing for grades 2-11 referred during the January testing nomination window.

Saturday, April 14th  ITBS Testing for grades 3-11 referred during the January nomination window.
