Supplies

Flute  

·        soft cotton cloth (approx. 6” x 12” example:  handkerchief, bandana, cut old cotton T-shirt)

Clarinet

·        cleaning swab

·        cork grease

·        at least 4 extra reeds (strength #2), a box is better. Good brands: Rico, Rico Royal, La Voz (medium soft), Mitchell Lurie.  Avoid Vandoren for beginners.

Trumpet 

·        valve oil

Trombone 

·        slide cream and water spray bottle, or slide oil

Baritone  

·        valve oil

Violin, Viola  

·        soft cloth to wipe instrument

·        rosin

Cello

·        soft cloth to wipe instrument

·        “rock stop” (a device to keep cello from slipping on the floor while being played)

·        rosin
