Welcome to Mrs. Marlow's 5th grade class! I am very excited to begin the 2011-2012 school year! Fifth grade is going to be new and exciting, with a blend of tradition and fresh ideas. I am thrilled to be in the third year of a 1:1 pilot classroom, where every student in my room has their own netbook! The Web 2.0 tools will be alive in our classroom!
This is my 12th year teaching in East Grand Rapids. I've taught everything from reading, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade. I love fifth graders and their sense of humor, creative spirits, passion for school, and their willingness to try something new.
I have two little boys at home. My husband, Matt and I are lucky enough to both be teachers and enjoyed each moment of our summer with Ben and Brody. They keep us young!
