This month we are reviewing our alphabet, and numbers. In science we will learn about frogs, magnets, and flowers. Our emphasis in religion is of course on the Easter story, preceded by a look at Jesus' many miracles. Many of the students can recite the Our Father and Hail Mary by heart!
Our older Pre's are honing their skills for Kindergarten Round-Up at the end of April. (Each Kinder-bound student should have received a pre-K evaluation by now). Notes will be coming home regarding this event! We continue to work on easy sight words and early emergent reading books for the students who are interested.
As always, practice at home on name writing, number and letter recognition is very helpful. Parents, please remember that gym shoes are required footwear for preschoolers. This is a playground safety precaution as well as a requirement for using the gym during inclement weather and for gym day. Remember to bring boots/caps/mitts as well for wear in the snow.
